Just grabbed the latest release
Used to be that I could do <ctrl>F in the Editor, type in a word, press
<enter> and find the first instance of that word. That still works.
Used to be that I could then press <enter> again to find the second
instance of the word. This no longer works. It seems that I now need
to drop the keyboard, go find the mouse, go find a Next button, and
click it. Then go find the keyboard again.
I find this to be much less efficient than in the past.

That does work.
I wonder why <enter> was removed. It now does nothing at all, and in
the past it did something useful.
Oh, well.

You can work with <ctl>g also in the editor and find the next one. That
would not work with <enter>.

Ah. I always found having to enter and exit Find to be annoying. I
guess I was missing the <ctl>g trick.
Thanks!

Used to be that I could then press
<enter>
again to find the second

Works for me on Windows7.

Here too, on Windows 10 if that matters.
I can't immediately find any difference in the behavior of Find between
2019.05 and 2021.01. [Enter] finds the next instance if and only if
Find's text entry box has the focus.

I put my cursor in the text box of the Find and hit <enter> and nothing
changes in the editor.
Puzzling.
Wow. Just Wow. The <enter> key does not work, but the <enter> key on
the keypad does work.
<ctrl>-g it is, I guess

Perhaps if the button had read "Next -
<ctl>
g" this entire thread would
have been unnecessary.
Perhaps if F3 had been used for repeated Finds, nobody would have even
wondered about it.
I would never have considered using anything other than File->Reload (or
Ctrl-R) for reload, let alone F3.
