I noticed some recent discussions seemed a bit disjointed and just found
that a lot of messages had been classified as spam by Google. This seems to
be a new phenomenon. In the past it has just been a few users. Is it
something to do with the new mailing list software?

Yep, not just Google, I'm getting that issue on GMX too. With
the old mailing list server it was no issue, having the mailing
list address setup in mail preferences made sure it's ending
up in the inbox. That does not seem to help with the new server
unfortunately.

ciao,
Torsten.

I've noticed that recently my mail provider has begun classifying almost
90% of messages on this list as spam.  And it's always just this list.
This didn't used to happen.

I get some threads with a few posts missing rather than whole threads
missing.

This seems to be a new phenomenon. In the past it has just been a few
users. Is it something to do with the new mailing list software?

If you give your mail to Google they own you. I see no such issues. I
use an independent email provider.

On a similar note, I've also recently noticed that my email client (Spark) has been classifying  replies to a thread on this list as a separate thread from the original message, I presume because the "Re:" is after "[OpenSCAD]", rather than vice versa. Anyone else seeing the same?

the old mailing list server it was no issue, having the mailing

unfortunately.

I have a non gmail spam filter and I noticed a lot of messages getting
tagged right after the mail list software migration.
It's not everyone, but still a bunch of people.

As I recall, the same thing happened last time the listserv was upgraded.

I've just been marking senders as not spam.

Thus nop head hast written on Sat, Apr 10, 2021 at 03:11:31PM +0100, and, according to prophecy, it shall come to pass that:
