I'm not sure there's someone here who knows about the details.
There's a hackaday project page though:

The author of that may have been one of the reasons the WASM
build came to life by promoting a bounty for the work. So a
big thanks goes to them.
The one Olivier is working on and making very cool progress,
e.g. supporting Fonts and a set of Libraries, is the one at:

At some point I hope we can have an installation on the openscad
website providing a simple way to share embedded designs, maybe
with code view option. So many idea, so little time :-).

I noticed it includes NopSCADlib amongst the libraries but it doesn't seem
