Just curious: why you don't like to use libraries for this?

Any chance this might make it in a future release? I'm running into this
again now, and I don't like to the use libraries for this basic lathe
functionality.

Any combination of the following

  1. Slower than native
  2. More files
  3. More dependencies to code not maintained by me
  4. Often has license that I cannot use (commercially)
  5. Don't offer what I want (a simple lathe-like function to make various screw thread)
