Icon size on retina-style display

I posted this to the mailing list, but don't see it here in the forums, so
apologies if this is a re-post.

Is there any way to make the toolbar icons larger for hi-res displays?
Particularly the x,y, and z axes markings are incredibly tiny.

okay, I did track down a way to do this, using the DPI features within
windows compatibility settings for the exe.  My icons are all kind of fuzzy
looking, and the axes are super pixelated, but at least I can tell what they
are now....
