I have just posted a proposal on the Shapeways developer forum for them to provide support for parametric OpenSCAD model import into ShapeJS. This would allow a shop on Shapeways to offer customisable objects ("cocreator" per Shapeways), generated by feeding the UI parameters to an OpenSCAD script.
