GSoC 15 Student Introduction

Hi everyone,

I am a 3rd year undergraduate, doing B.Tech in CSE from IIIT Hyderabad. I
would like to work on the project on Improving OpenGL rendering for
OpenSCAD. I have previous experience in OpenGL and C++. I have already
built the source. I would like if you could help me get started.

Hi,

Thanks for your email and sorry for late response.
Note that the projects posted for GSoC are rough suggestions for projects. I would strongly recommend that you familiarize yourself with OpenSCAD and the code, to be able to write a good project proposal.
The best would be to find us on IRC as well as ask concrete questions here.
To get your feet wet, you can also search for github issues tagged “Low Hanging” - that could be a good start for getting to know the workflows.
