What a change! About a month ago I got a new iMac with the M3 processor and at the same time I switched to using Manifold. Render times went down dramatically, like by 2/3s or more. Then I started using the customizer and that sped up my design work with OpenSCAD dramatically. Today I finished the build of my Prusa MK4 with their new Input Shaper algorithm. I’m just doing my first big print, but wow is it faster than the MK3S+. I’m doing a print now that will be just over 2 hours. When I did this recently with the old printer, I think it took at least 7 hours. It’ pretty amazing watching the speed that the MK4 print head moves at now.
BTW I built the MK4 from a kit and it came up and passed the self tests and printed perfectly first time. The instructions are really very good.
This tech is only a few years newer but what an improvement!
