Got an unusual prob with this list and t-bird msg filters
1: t-bird has no List-ID choice so I can't filter this List-ID to my
local_folder/OpenSCAD directory
2: that leaves to,from,cc,bcc containing "lists.openscad.org" which has
worked for a couple years
with move_to, and mark unread as the do options
3: it quit working after about noonish 11/25. I didn't change anything
till today but I now have
325 msgs It now marks as unread, but refuses to move them even after I
choose from tools/run on
folder with the inbox selected.
Did you change anything in the headers on about that date? The rest of
my 30 some rules still work.
Thank you.

If we desire respect for the law, we must first make the law respectable.
Nothing intentionally changed with the Mailing-list.
My Outlook rules are working, based on 'sent to' 'discuss@lists.openscad.org' & '[OpenSCAD]' in subject.
('sent to' in Outlook must be generic, to,cc etc as it works with the following)
Note that some people do reply-all, and if your address was in the conversation,
you may get a reply 'To' your address, with the Mailing-list 'cc'.
As you can see in your message below, the From/To still contains 'list.openscad.org'.
Unfortunately, I'm not t-bird expert.

I'm filtering by List-Id for years with Thunderbird. In the header
selection, there is an item 'Customize' which can be used to add missing
header filters. Next time, the custom filter appears in the header
selection among the other pre-defined ones.
(At least, that's how I recall me having the List-Id filter available.)

It doesn't have that choice by default, but you can add it:
Tools > Message Filters > New
Then click the down-arrow to display the list of choices (Subject, From,
Body, etc.), scroll that list all the way to the bottom, and click
"Customize". Then you can add List-ID to the list of choices.

Done, looks like it works. Thanks a bunch.
