Valid polyhedron, but manifold needs repair in slicer

I generated a model that appears to be a valid polyhedron (renders with a
cube) but when I load the STL into prusaclicer, it says "Auto-repaired
(24052 errors)".  What could be going on?

Model:

Can't run ATM but if you have close vertices STL export can break it.

Meshmixer shows the STL to have completely inverted normals. It's trying to print "inside out."

The slicers are pretty good at repairing some things, particularly reversed
normals (at least if they are ALL reversed). I suspect prusaslicer just
reports what it is doing, while cura is just doing it quietly...

It is inside-out.

That should have been obvious.  At least the fix is trivial.  Now I need
to figure out why my printer won't print it.  (About every cm in elevation
there's some kind of adhesion problem and the model shifts by several mm.)

For the curious, I'm exploring the idea of trying to make a thin box that
is stiffened by the texture.  Ultimately I was planning to have a hinged
lid and latch, but not there yet.  (Also the texture gives it a very
interesting look.)

Jordan took me to task for posting code that doesn't run.  If you want to
run the scad code, switch the include to BOSL2 instead of the fork, and
change "min_area" to "convex" or perhaps "quincunx".

I attempted a similar variant, right now unable to figure out why all the
sides are not wavy
