Q: Is there an OpenSCAD language syntax properties file around for SciTE?

I'm trying to migrate from Win10 to Ubuntu and I would love to use SciTE as
my editor.

My searches here and the web in general have come up empty.

Thanks!  Len

Never mind  :-)  I was finally able to get Notepad++ installed on Ubuntu,
which is even better.

I too am a BIG fan of Notepad++, and downloaded it. I ran into one problem,
it seems to show decidedly Window-ish directories in the left panel of the
Save or Load requester.

When saving, I get directories I can use in to save (/home/larry/Documents),
but I can't seem to get to that directory when I try to load.

Did you have a similar problem, and if so how did you get around it?
