Just for some extra info I am using a Linux distro as my OS.
Linux has many different distros and versions, and Openscad has many, too.
Simply saying "Linux distro" provides not much info for people who can help.
For example, I have been using Openscad on Linux Mint for > 2 yrs without
that kind of problem.
$ Runsun Pan, PhD
$ libs: doctest , faces ( git ), offline doc ( git ),runscad.py( 1 , 2 , git );
$ tips: hash( 1 , 2 ), sweep , var , lerp , animGif
