For some reason the screen capture shows the blinking at the left margin, but
on the live screen it is not visible, you can't see a flash, and the
highlighted block is the same width as the other highlighted block. So you
can't see the cursor.

Why don't you just describe things instead of posting videos?

Yes, I also noticed that issue. Especially difficult with narrow fonts.

Which color scheme? (Only snapshots >= 2014-12-21 are interesting)

Note that the color schemes are in separate files now, so if anybody
has a favorite color scheme, that's relatively easy to add.
We probably don't want to deliver thousands of color schemes, but
a couple more nice ones could certainly be added... :-)
