Hi, I'm not at all despirite for new features. So this is really more of a curiosity question: I see posts talking about the new distance and angle features, and decided I was curious enough to look for more info. I see the stable (2021,01), which I'm using and the nightly. Seems like a bit of a long gap, and wishful thinking has me asking "Is a new stable release imminent?"

IIRC there is no explicit roadmap, but Kintel is working hard recently with the geometry backend (and especially about moving manifold out of experimental #4825 <https://github.com/openscad/openscad/issues/4825>), so hopefully we should have a next release *soon* (i.e. in a year or something) when manifold related things are stabilized? I also want to make manifold v3 support double precision ASAP to fix #4871 <https://github.com/openscad/openscad/issues/4871> which can be surprising to users.
