I did a nightly upgrade via Synaptic to 2019.11.24.nightly, but today I get

W: Failed to fetch

Any ideas? Is from https to http perhaps the issue?

Try it again. I noticed a partial internet outage earlier today, some major web sites were not reachable. Maybe the problem was global enough to affect you too.

Still can't get the new nightly.
I edited /etc/apt/sources.list.d/openscad.list, changed https to http, it
installed (2020.01.04.nightly).
I presume that is not best practice, does this point to a repository
misconfiguration?

https://github.com/openscad/openscad/commits/master indicates the last
commit in master on 2020-01-04, so that seems correct.

I don't know about that. I can download that file via Webbrowser
just fine. Could be local system policies, a proxy inbetween or
something similar. The service is provided and hosted by SuSE,
so I don't know where to look for more details.

ciao,
Torsten.

I tried again and it worked, 2020.02.09.nightly.
Download was 'queued' for a while probably hitting the main site, I suspect
some mirror sites may be a problem.
