Hull is a very useful tool. Someone solved a problem I was having by
using it, teaching me how, and have I since deigned and made better air
flow in a 3d printers hot end. My first pass at this put the wraparound
air flow of an E3V6 extruder fan in an enders square box. Since weight
to throw around is part of the printers max speed, this air flow clean
up weighs in at 30 grains. Using methods not using hull would have
weighed several grams, slowing the printers max practical speed.

Hull can make you printable walls under a mm thick.

Cheers, Gene Heskett.
