Dear all, Probably I will buy this part (attached).  Never the less I am interested in how to design something with OpenScad.. (lets open a new door for me). Lets assume I have a strong wire with 5-8mm and with bending and welding I create something. With which functions I can designs the same thing in OpenScad? Thanks in advance Karl

Karl: I have used the Turtle() facility in BOSL2 before with good results.
