If you're running windows , then you can set file history to autosave
every ten minutes (default is every hour. )
If You have devices that run on 12V, routers, scanners etc, with an
external psu, then you can float a 12V sealed lead acid gel battery
(YUASA brand, say) across the 12V dc , maybe needing a series resistor(
and by-pass diode) to reduce the load between it and the psu, It keeps
stuff running for an hour or so. These batteries last for years on a
trickle charge.

Hey all,
I was just working for about an hour on a project when suddenly the
power flicked off in my house. When it came back on minutes later, I
realized I had lost my work.
How difficult would it be to autosave to a temp file, and then attempt
recovery if found on startup?
Any interest in this feature?
Thanks
