The host of the OpenSCAD Mailing-list (lists.openscad.org) is recommending a software upgrade. It is currently using Mailman 2, they are transitioning to Mailman 3. Mailman 3 is structurally different. In particular they have noted: > If you have used hard links on your website and other locations to your > current archives, please note that these links will break. Mailman 3 now > stores archives in a database and uses a thread ID for each archived > thread. This can't be helped because this is a result of a design choice > by the Mailman 3 developers. The plus side to this new approach is you can > still easily link to a thread using its thread ID. Even individual > messages can now be linked to. > > There will be new URLs to access Affinity and your archives. The v2 archive will be migrated to v3, but URLs will change. I am not aware of any hard-links, but I don't know what some if you may have setup. So, below I list example URLs which are types of hard-links. If you have any similar links they will break.
