Gene,  I have no idea why the attachment would be empty, I've drafted this with Thunderbird, my first couple of attempts to submit were rejected by the mailer [quite rightly], so I copy the subject line over when creating a new submission..  I should have added that selecting the text is fine, its when I press the CTRL key before C that the issue [occasionally] arises.
