When I run the 2/25 release of OpenSCAD, I see line numbers in the
editor (good!). Better would be if those numbers could be of a
different color (gray vs black?). Even better would be if the line
number for the line after 99 showed up as 100 rather than as 00

Interesting, doesn't happen on my system, I get 100.
