You work with 3D printers. I work with laser cutters. So, at some point, I extrude the objects just to see what they look like, but what I export and work with is always 2D (btw, it would be nice to be able to disable any rotation in the viewport, when you work in 2D, pan and zoom is all you need, and rotate just mess things up). -- Sent from: http://forum.openscad.org/
