OS X issues with version() and version_num()

I downloaded the latest files for OpenSCAD on OS X, and I get nothing with version functions.

version() returns [0,0,0]
version_num returns 0.

Anyone else noticed this, or it is a problem on my side?

I am using a macbook pro with retina display, and Yosemite.

That should be fixed but it's not yet included in the MacOSX
build.
