Fellow makers,
After a career in Electrical Engineering, I am finally able to follow my
interests in robotics and machines that move. Mechanical Engineering and
design is really forcing my brain to re-wire itself. I'm really struggling
with designing with gears. While the Internet is awash with resources on
how to design the gears themselves, I've not found much on how to actually
use gears, how to mount them, support structures, using bearings, etc. Does
anyone know of any web resources that could help teach me some best
practices on creating gear support structures? I probably just don't know
the correct terms to search for. Thanks!
