Rounding tops of lettering

I am looking for a method to “round” the top part of the lettering shown in
the attached picture.  The letters have a slight taper toward the top of the
lettering, but the tops are flat.  Instead of having the top of the
lettering flat, I would like to have the tops rounded.  I can produce a DXF
or STL file of just the outline of the top of the lettering.  Any
suggestions?
