I'm using version 2015.03-1 on Linux. When I start the GUI with a recent file, OpenSCAD immediately starts to render a preview. Since some of the files I'm working on take upwards of 20 minutes to render and considering that I usually open them in OpenSCAD to continue working on them, this forces annoying wait times on me.
