Not sure why  your SVG are upside down, but there are many solutions to that!

As was explained, it's a different coordinate system --- since I'm writing out coordinates directly, I'll need to put in the math to translate things --- I've got an idea on how to handle this, but it's just not something I'm in the mood to work through today.

,, but happy to see that your joinery is working. it actually looks rather infallible, maybe even without wood glue.

I actually had one:
Bamboo Pencil Cup by WillAdams (cutrocket.com)

which when put together dry for a test fit, could not be disassembled.
Those same settings did not work as well for:
Miniature working surface for Lee Valley miniature tools : Workbenches (reddit.com)

and I should probably put in some variables to allow for glue gap, and the distance between pockets and the interior angles of the joinery, but the files can be imported into the CAM tool which I am using and have matching toolpaths assigned in it.

I just wish I could convince the author of that program to allow assigning of geometry to layers on import based on colour.

I think that would allow me to use DXFs and this would all "just work".
