Is there a way to generate openSCAD source code instead of STL when using a parametric model?

Hi there,

I've been using the SBC Case Builder (
https://github.com/hominoids/SBC_Case_Builder) to create enclosures for my
SBCs. It's quite efficient for designing board enclosures, however, the
tool allows me to save a set of parameters for later use, but it doesn't
provide the openSCAD code for direct modifications.

I understand that I could export the model as an STL file and then
re-import it for modifications, but I'm wondering if there's a more
efficient method available. Specifically, I'm looking to add a handle to
the generated model.

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,

I’d design the handle separately and then merge it with Meshmixer or MS 3D
Builder.

Great idea Guenther, this worked like a charm!

Thanks a lot.
