The view from top button on the toolbar and possibly the orthographic
button if you don't want perspective.

View/Top - Ctrl+4. Also this icon:
It sets the rotation to [0,0,0], which is +X pointing right and +Y
pointing up, and -Z into the screen, which is what I think you're asking
about.
