OpenSCAD compatible computational fluid dynamics software?

Hi All,

I'm trying to export a design from OpenSCAD (e.g., via .stl file format)
and analyze it using some CFD software (ideally open source/free) to infer
properties about the design, e.g., drag, lift, etc.

While this is not 100% an openscad question, I'm hoping someone from the
openscad community has had the same requirements and might have a ready
solution that they're willing to share.

Fwiw, I've found OpenFOAM (openfoam.org) which seems to be the right thing
but has some many options and seems to be "everything to everyone" that
I've lost the last week trying to figure out (without success) how to
calculate drag and lift on my model.  Absent a better option, I will keep
trying with OpenFOAM but I'm hoping that someone in the community has some
wisdom they're willing to share.

Thank you in advance!

I've been using simscale for similar purposes. Not open source, but free to
use, and it's pretty cool

Thanks for the reply - I’ll check it out!  If anyone else has any
suggestions I’d be happy to check those out as well.
