See the subscribe link at the top of the page, it signs up to the mailing
list, you need to click the link in the email it sends you too.

Admin - PM me if you need anything, or if I've done something stupid...

Unless specifically shown otherwise above, my contribution is in the Public Domain; to the extent possible under law, I have waived all copyright and related or neighbouring rights to this work. Obviously inclusion of works of previous authors is not included in the above.

The TPP is no simple “trade agreement.”  Fight it! http://www.ourfairdeal.org/  time is running out!

For me, everytime I post a message on this forum from
http://www.openscad.org/community.html, I keep getting a message to
subscribe, with a checkbox to say /Don't ask again/ and two buttons, one
saying /Subscribe /and one that says /I'm already subscribed/.  It's
actually really annoying as I keep checking the /Don't ask again/ checkbox
and pressing the/ I'm already Subscribed/ button, but it doesn't listen as
it asks again the next time.

Anyone know what is going on here?  It is really starting to grate on me.

Same problem here. I keep getting the reminder, and when I post, I keep
seeing the message that the post is not accepted by the mailing list.
Meanwhile, I tried applying for it again, and I get all the posts twice by
e-mail, except for my own posts.

It may have something to do with the security settings of the browser, as I
block all cross-site javascripts by default.

I'd rather say it is your browser's cookie settings. Nabble uses a bunch of
cookies to remember you. If your browser deletes all cookies at session end
or even doesn't accept any cookies you get this popup.

Well, I've joined the club...
There is a cookie list.openscad.org named ml-reminder
When I deleted it I got the message box.
Haven't found out how to get it set again... :(
But now I have an opportunity to learn :)

You may need to allow cookies for openscad.org, I didn't have restrictions.
Well, I had to unsubscribe via:
http://forum.openscad.org/mailing_list/MailingListOptions.jtp?forum=1
(and respond to the email)
[wait a few minutes for confirmation email]
Subscribe via the same page, respond to email.
[waited 18m for nabble email]
click on link in email.
I didn't need to then click turn off list mail delivery button, you may or
may-not want to do so.

After all that I got the list.openscad.org cookie ml-reminder back & I don't
get the msg box.

Just licking the subscribe button doesn't trigger the nabble processes.
