Am working thru OpenSCAD Tutorial. Got the streamlined car done. Unions, differences, and intersection went sort of OK. Things started to disappear. Made fancy wheel cylinder, inserted smaller cylinder (lightening hole) and wheel cylinder disappeared. Here’s code:

$fa=1;    //resolution command

$fs=0.2;  // surface resolution

    translate(\[10,-.1,0\])

     rotate(\[0,90,90\])

       cylinder(7,d=8)                      //lightening hole

   translate(\[0,0,0\]) //sphere(5);

   rotate(\[0,90,90\])

       cylinder(5,d=25,center=true); //outer wheel

Please advise soonest and thanks for being here,

Jon

My openscad says:
WARNING: module cylinder() does not support child modules in file testosc.scad, line 9

I suspect you intended to place a semicolon at the end here.

Thanks, I think I see. Found Charles Wheezer on U-tube, 27 videos on Open SCAD. Easy to follow and listen to. I have another problem I’ll start another thread for. Thanks again.
