tabs in new editor

I have converted over to using the 2/25 release.  The tabs are now 8
characters, rather than 4 or so (or at least that is how it looks) and
all of my scripts are wrapping.  Any way to control the width of the tabs?

When I enter tabs on an empty line, each tab character moves to the
right half as much as when I move the cursor left through the blank
space that is a tab.  It seems that some of the editor thinks of the
tabs as having the same width that I am used to, and some of the editor
thinks of it as being twice as wide.

In Edit / Preferences you will find Indentation width, tab width and tab
key function. You can set them how you want. Probably 4,4 and Insert tab.

Thank you.  I looked for a Preferences icon in the editor portion of the
screen, but did not find it.  Right clicked the word Editor and nothing
happened.  All better now.

Might be helpful if there were an icon to see/hide white space.  Not
sure how often I will have to deal with this.

I might suggest that the default for the tab be 4 rather than 8, since
that is closer to how things were in the past

Might be helpful if there were an icon to see/hide white space.

In case you missed it there is at least a show tabs option in preferences.

I can think of higher priorities for icons than preferences.

Like cut/copy/paste.
