how change menus from Russian to English in macports port?

I installed the macports port of openscad, which is the old version 2015.03-3.

The GUI OpenSCAD has nearly all its menu items in Russian. How do I change that to English.

(If my Russian weren’t so rusty, I might be able to recognize the relevant term in the app’s preferences, but I’m not seeing that.)

P.S. This app badly needs a macports maintainer to update the port to the current version. I don’t have the needed expertise at all.

Ok, lets see if the mailing list takes the Russian letters...

That's from the latest version, but I suppose the translation
did not change too much.

Menu:
Правка -> Параметры

Tab in preferences menu:
Дополнительно

Disable checkbox:
[ ] Включить локализацию интерфейса (необходимо перезапустить OpenSCAD)
