"Thrown together" as the default?

How practical would it be to have a variation on "Thrown together" as
the default display mode?

The idea would be to get reversed faces to be purple, but not to do as
TT does then it shows parts removed by difference/intersection.

It seems like having reversed-as-purple be the default would make a lot
of polyhedron problems more obvious.

I have no idea how the CSG previewer really works, so I have no idea how
possible it really is to separate the two behaviors.
