Editor text messed-up

Hi,  I am using version 2017.01.20 on Windows 10.
The editor's display is messed up because the font that is displayed doesn't
seem to match the character width and line height that the editor thinks it
is dealing with, resulting in the image attached.  Zooming doesn't do
anything.  It doesn't always get into that state, but it happens frequently
as I open new files. Any help is welcome.
Thanks,
Olivier

does it make any difference if you change the editor font in preferences
/ editor tab?

Nope, I tried Courier New at various sizes as well as Arial.  Both are
TrueType fonts so Windows should definitely know how to deal with them.  At
this time, I switched to the "Simple Editor" and it works.  It would be nice
to be able to leverage the better editor though.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Is this isolated to that particular build or do you see the same for other dev snapshots?
