Hi,

for(x=[-5:5],y=[-5:5]){

    translate(\[2\*x,2\*y,0\])

      cube(size=1,center=true)

     }

copied from u-tube, my version of SCAD won’t render it (main computer) but will render on my tablet Open SCAD. Version on main computer is 2021.01

Please advise.

I think the cube should have a semicolon after it.

What he said. If you had a console pane visible, you’d have seen the syntax error.

Also, you might want to download the current development build, or at least something newer than the last “official” release.

It‘s much faster when rendering and makes life more pleasant in general.

(At this point I usually ask when/if a new official release will happen…)

Please advise.

In addition to the semicolon, you also do not need the curly braces.
