I recently upgraded to Fedora 33, and since then I have been unable to use
Openscad.

The machine is a AUS ROG GL752G with 64GB RAM, 2.2TB SSD and  and
nvidia GeForce GTX 965M

Its running fedora 33, Gnome, with NVIDIA proprietary Drivers loaded, hence
its running Xorg and not Wayland.

Openscad has always run perfectly well on this rig until I upgraded to
fedora 33.

I have attached some screenshots and the output of lshw,  has anybody seen
this issue before?

I have downloaded an AppImage of 2019-05 and it runs fine.

It turns out it is the use of XOrg on F33, i found a mechanism that allows
me to run Gonome wayland server with the NVIDIA proprietary driver, and now
OpenScad works fine.

So it appears that the packaged Openscad in the fedora-33 dnf repo is
having problems with XOrg, not sure why running it as an AppImage made them
go away
