In the coming few weeks a customiser/gsoc version with this setup would be very cool. They were all built after 2016.06.25, unusable for me (and probably for others).

We’re working on merging Customizer, so stay tuned..

I hope you will make the Customizer font smaller (or "customizable") as
well as allowing the programmer to determine the order of the values.

Jon,

Please follow these two issues to track that:
Value order: https://github.com/openscad/openscad/issues/1844
Font sizes: https://github.com/openscad/openscad/issues/1845

Hi Benjamin,

I’m still trying to get to the bottom of this. Would you mind testing the 4 executables in the following DMG?
http://files.openscad.org/snapshots/OpenSCAD-tests.dmg

Thanks - looks like one of the libs are bad.
I might get back to you with more tests.

Hi Benjamin,

Sorry to pester you again, but thanks a lot for your tests!
In this version I’ve isolated the issue to the gmp library.
If you could verify which one of the two binaries work and which don’t that would validate my theory:

http://files.openscad.org/snapshots/OpenSCAD-tests2.dmg

xcode8-gmp works
xcode7-gmp doesn't

Happy to participate.

OK,

Hopefully last try:
http://files.openscad.org/snapshots/OpenSCAD-2016.11.06.dmg

I think I fixed it in this one.
It turned out that one of the dependencies (libgmp) had been built for a newer CPU, including some instructions which are not be available on older CPUs.
