[OpenSCAD] Ehhh help? What am I doing wrong ? a little OT (running openscad in Python)

Executables do have .exe extensions on Windows but you don't need to
specify that to run them.
If you look at the readme it says:
> Add the directory of the OpenScad executable to your search path.
It looks like that is not the case.
