[OpenSCAD] Evaluating imported STL's

I guess I messed up half my example. The difference() operation actually
created a correct result for intersection() {...}, but an empty module() {}
or an empty union() {} did not. Shouldn't these be the same?

The problem stands either way for the minkowski() {...} operator.
